Essential oil aromatherapy massage

Aromatherapy massage combines the beneficial effects of a refreshing massage and essential oils. During the massage, the oils are absorbed through the skin, passing through the epidermis and entering the bloodstream, thereby coming into contact with the body. They then have a stimulating, diuretic, antifungal, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory effect on the whole organism. They nourish and regenerate the skin from within.

Scents can influence our mood and our feelings; they can reduce the stress we experience. When applied to the skin, they stimulate circulation and aid the removal of toxins from our bodies. There are essential oils that have antiviral and antibacterial properties and offer solutions for insomnia, depression, and respiratory problems.

The most commonly used aromatherapy essential oils:

  • Lavender: insomnia, restlessness, stress and tension relief
  • Lemon: mental fatigue, headache, tension
  • Eucalyptus: Respiratory complaints
